i know this probably the only hate review but THERES SO MUCH MISSING! we dont have an undo button plus its so hard to use do not recommend!
Used to be so good, I could edit anything using Sumopaint and was using it on a daily basis for 3+ years!!! Then they released the new version and now its COMPLETE TRASH. So many bugs and crashes. Simple things as adding a text and editing it, is now HORRIBLE. Everything that I loved has been smashed to pieces. Not sure what the developers was thinking... I've been coming back to give it another shot a few times since the new release. But It doesn't get any better... It's a shame... I still have the old version installed on my computer but I can't use it as I need to "login" which doesn't work anymore unfortunatly... Used to be 10/10, now 1/10, would not recommend it to anyone. There are better options out there!
So far, I'm impressed. I still have to get used to all the features, but the user interfase has been very easy to understand, and the app works very well. The free version limits the number of layers one can create, but all the blending modes and tools seem to be available, and you can log in with your Google account, save in the cloud and share your work in Facebook or other sites. I'm looking forward to try the other Sumo apps, especially Sumo Code.
I have been using this art application for over 4 years and have enjoyed it for what it is. Sure, there were some save problems and some crashes but all I had to do was remember to save. However with the new version of Sumopaint, Sumopaint X, it has removed 3 of my favourite (and most basic) tools that you could use. The circle tool, the line tool, and finally the curve tool. I used solely these three tools for every piece I have made for 4 years and all of them are gone. Thank you Sumopaint, you have literally thrown away every single tool I ever used and rendered your program absolutely useless to me. I'll come back when you add those tools back. (Which is most likely never)
Sumopaint, oh wow buddy. It used to be cool, but now it can't even save my images without converting them into "Sumo files". I recommend using paint.js.org or gimp or ms paint. The pay part is also kinda dog shizzle. Hide your kids, hide your wife, hide yourself from this.
